ABOUT
I am a cross disciplinary industrial designer with an investigative and research driven approach. My holistic design method is nourished by a diversity of interests and backgrounds in political science, biology and architecture.
Within my creative practice I aim to question prevalent political and cultural paradigms, while trying to embrace phenomena of accelerated technological and ecological change. I use design as an experimental tool to develop concepts, strategies, stories and systems in the form of objects, installations, films and experiences that aim to stimulate, empower and trigger debate. Design is my medium to not only make ideas, but ideals imaginable and discussable for a broad audience.
My projects have been shown at the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Shanghai Biennale, the Triennale die Milano and at Ingenium Canada in 2019.
In 2017 I was a speaker for Antenna Conference at Dutch Design Week presenting Menu from the New Wild. In 2018 I was awarded the MehrWert Design Prize for the project 1070 Unseen.
Recently Transitory Yarn was included in the Design Collection of the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.
After gaining work experience in several design studios in Vienna and at Studio Superflux in London, I founded my own design and research studio in Vienna, where I am working on projects at the intersection of humans and non-humans, culture, nature and technology.
